Community Recycling Day
Wednesday, April 15th
It’s time for spring cleaning! Bring your old electronics and textiles to donate at our Community Recycling Day on Wednesday, April 15th from 10 am – 2 pm at the Flatiron South Plaza.
In partnership with the Lower East Side Ecology Center (LESEC) be a part of this green initiative during Earth Month!
For electronics we accept: working & non-working computers, monitors, printers/scanners, keyboards, mice, cables, TVs, VCRs & DVD players, phones, audio/visual equipment, cell phones & PDAs.
For textiles we accept: clothing, shoes, towels, hats, bags, gloves, linens & bedding, curtains, clean, dry & unsoiled fabric.
Car-Free Earth Day
Saturday, April 25th
Car-Free Earth Day will be held on Saturday, April 25th from 10 am – 4 pm. Hosted by the NYC Department of Transportation (DOT), this annual citywide event celebrates Earth Day with select city streets open for walking, biking, and car-free strolling.
Join Flatiron NoMad Partnership on the Flatiron South Plaza as we host family-friendly interactive programming and public art in celebration of Car-Free Earth Day! More details coming soon.
