Join Flatiron NoMad Partnership for our 5th annual Día de Muertos Celebration on Wednesday, October 28th from 3-7 pm at the Flatiron North Plaza.
This free, public celebration will include:
- Our interactive community altar: Twenty Petal Flower presented in partnership and designed by Mestiz Studio and Powerhouse Arts.
- A curated mix of Mexican folklore performances presented by Calpulli Mexican Dance Company.
- Flower-making workshop with Mano a Mano: Mexican Culture Without Borders.
- Día de Muertos-inspired booklet-making activity with Center for Book Arts.
- DIY printmaking and Marigold Flores de Papel activity with museum Poster House.
- La Catrina face painting and skull decorations.
