To get started:
First, review the New York City guidelines for plaza events. Then, make sure your event is free and open to the public and confirm vending or selling of goods is not part of your activation plan.
When ready, submit your Plaza Activation application through the Mayor’s Office “e-apply” platform.
Please note, the application deadline is 30 days prior to the activation for one plaza block and 45 days prior to the event for multiple plaza blocks.
