Flatiron NoMad Partnership’s 18th Annual Meeting Recap

The Flatiron NoMad Partnership held our 18th Annual Meeting & Community Reception on Monday, September 30 at the Simons Foundation (160 Fifth Avenue), featuring a keynote speech by Ya-Ting Liu, NYC’s Chief Public Realm Officer.

The evening began with words from Simons Foundation Chief Operating Officer Euan Robertson and Partnership board chairman Michael Cohen, welcoming 195+ attendees as well as remote viewers who watched on Zoom. Additional speakers included NYC Department of Small Business Services Commissioner Dynishal Gross and New York City Council Member Keith Powers.

After electing members to our Board of Directors and approving the FY 2025 budget, we presented our annual awards. Recipients included Sunny Atis of the Flatiron Building (Robert B. Frankel Chairperson’s Award); NYC Chief Public Realm Officer Ya-Ting Liu (Partnership Award); Co-Founders of YOUNGBUK Art Services Alex Vicenzi and Adam Nowicki (Partnership Award); Sergio Gonzalez of the Partnership’s public safety team (Outstanding Service Award); and Pedro Nieto and Mohamed Ceesay of the Partnership’s sanitation team (Outstanding Service Award).

The program was followed by a community networking and cocktail reception catered by the Simons Foundation.
