Permanent Outdoor Dining Bill is Passed
New York City Council passed Int.31-C, the permanent outdoor dining bill on Thursday, August 3, 2023.
The bill will allow outdoor dining on sidewalks year-round, and on city roads for eight months out of the year from April 1st through November 29th. Outdoor dining will now be legally available to restaurants in all neighborhoods across the five boroughs.
