RFP: Winter Public Art Installation
The Flatiron NoMad Partnership, a non-profit organization for local community and economic development, seeks submissions of existing public art installations to serve as the centerpiece of our Winter 2023-2024 programming series.
As stewards and daily caretakers of the Flatiron and NoMad neighborhoods, we aim to activate the core of the neighborhood – the Flatiron Public Plazas – through a magnetic installation this winter. The Plazas have been home to numerous public art installations over the years and this year we hope to bring a temporary, highly visible installation that illuminates our iconic public spaces. The installation should engage diverse audiences and be an existing, prefabricated piece that has not yet been displayed in NYC.
Qualified applicants are invited to submit proposals in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Request for Proposal (RFP).
