You’re Invited to our Winter Glow Parade!

Starting tomorrow, light up your holidays this year with our newest seasonal program: Winter Glow!

Tomorrow, Thursday, November 30 at 4:30 PM, you’re invited to join us for an evening of enchantment with our Winter Glow Kick Off Parade, led by Bond Street Theatre and NYC artist Kuki.

  • Parade Start Point: 28th Street & Broadway
  • Parade End Point: Flatiron North Plaza (Intersection of 23rd Street, Broadway & Fifth Avenue)

 

The interactive art installation CONTROL NO CONTROL, created by Iregular, will be unveiled to New Yorkers for the first time! While at this event, enjoy free refreshments from Slate Cafe NoMad, while supplies last.

Hearts of Gold: Volunteers Needed

Give back this season by volunteering with the local nonprofit Hearts of Gold! Hearts of Gold is looking for volunteers to help wrap holiday gifts that will be distributed to over 600 children and moms in NYC homeless shelters.

Volunteers can sign up to start as early as Friday, December 1st throughout the month during weekday evenings from 5 – 8 pm and weekends from 10 am – 6 pm.

Support Local Diaper Drive

The Office of Councilmember Carlina Rivera and Bellevue Hospital are collecting diapers of all sizes to support asylum-seeking families in the community.

Diapers can be donated now through Friday, December 8th at 5 pm at Councilmember Rivera’s District Office: 254 East 4th Street.
