Multi-award winning, English trumpeter Alexandra Ridout returns to The Jazz Gallery with her Quartet, Sat, Jul 18th. After winning the 2016 BBC Young Musician Jazz Award, at the age of 17, Ridout’s jazz career took off and has been followed by various other prestigious awards and nominations.

Ridout has since toured with Samara Joy’s Octet, Renee Rosen’s band Artemis, Jochen Rueckert’s New Quartet, Arturo O’Farrill’s 8 time Grammy winning Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, to name but a few. In addition to leading her own Quartet, Ridout also plays alongside her father and brothers in their family band The Ridouts.
