Join Flatiron & NoMad to celebrate Pride! From June 16th – 30th, enjoy rainbow art at the pedestrian extensions of Broadway & 28th Street in NoMad by artist Ponnapa Prakkamakul.


Ponnapa Prakkamakul

ponnapa prakkamakul พรนภา ปรักกมกุล 陳可意  (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist and landscape architect. Inspired by her multinational background, ponnapa’s work explores the relationship between humans and their environment aiming to create a sense of place and belonging. Her past projects often take the form of bright, colorful sculptures and murals that respond to human scale, inviting passersby to engage with, touch, sit or even hop on. Her past collaborations included the ICA Boston, Greenway Conservancy, Harvard Museums of Science & Culture, Harvard Ed Portal, Boston Public Art Triennial, Downtown Boston Alliance, Pao Arts Center, Asian Community Development Corporation, Somerville Art Council, City of Cambridge, Town of Montague, and Perkins School for the Blind. ponnapa holds an MLA from the Rhode Island School of Design and  works at Sasaki.
