Mwanzi Harriott is a 23-year-old Jamaican-American musician and composer from Atlanta, now based in New York. His music draws from many influences of the African Diaspora and colludes it into something unique. Its vulnerable and doesn’t shy away from the core “blues” component that shaped jazz today. Beneath all the complex harmony and rhythmic layers there’s always something to latch on to.
