Lucy Kalantari is a GRAMMY® Award-winning artist, composer, producer, and engineer celebrated for her jazz and children’s music. A bilingual songwriter with Dominican roots, Kalantari writes music that uplifts, connects, and inspires. Her latest album Creciendo earned a GRAMMY® nomination for Best Children’s Music Album and a Premios Soberano nod for Album of the Year. She’s also a featured songwriter for the new Dora series on Paramount+ and Nick Jr.
With her band Lucy Kalantari & the Jazz Cats, she’s performed on stages from, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, to Symphony Space and the Kennedy Center. Her chart-topping songs have been featured on PBS Kids, Universal Kids, and SiriusXM Kids Place Live.. A dedicated mentor and advocate for equity in the music industry, Kalantari champions the next generation of creators through programs like GRAMMY U and We Are Moving the Needle.
