About Adam Lamoreux
Adam Lamoureux is a 22-year-old award winning tenor saxophonist and composer based in New York City. Said to be “One of the brightest young voices on the tenor saxophone” by WCKR Radio, Adam has performed across the world at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Jazz Gallery, Ornithology Jazz Club, Birdland Jazz Club, Cafe Bohemia, The Django, Nublu, Vortex Jazz Club, Stanford University, Kuumbwa Jazz, and is the recipient of multiple awards including 3rd place in the 9th Edition of the 7 Virtual Jazz Competition, a 2023 Downbeat Student award and the 2019 Rico Golden Reed award. Adam frequents as a sideman across New York City alongside luminaries of his generation and with esteemed musicians such as Marc Cary, John Benitez, E.J Strickland and Ingrid Jensen.
