Through the classic Beaux-Art lobby windows of The James NoMad lies a charming winter wonderland. Use the “Fragale” app on an iPhone or iPad to access a fully spatial world that leaps from the glass.
Using augmented reality, artist Steven Fragale takes us on a visual journey of the Flatiron & NoMad neighborhood through the last century. A sprawling, whimsical Madison Square Park on a winter’s day takes center stage with architecture framing the dreamy landscape.
Visit East 29th Street between Fifth & Madison Ave to view the iconic augmented reality paintings. Download the Fragale app and point your phone toward the paint on The James NoMad’s windows for the full augmented experience.
