Did you know the martini has a legendary past? Back in the 1860s, a gold miner in Martinez, CA, celebrated his luck by asking the bartender for something special. The result? Gin, vermouth, a splash of magic, and the ‘Martinez’ cocktail – what we now know as the martini.
