The Maze, 43 West 24th Street, @themazenyc
The new alcohol-free members club The Maze has landed in Flatiron featuring a stylish atmosphere. “What initially attracted me to Flatiron and NoMad was the convenience of its central location – it’s accessible from all corners of New York City,” says Founder & CEO Justin Gurland. “Over time, though, I’ve come to appreciate the neighborhood as a dynamic hub, bringing together an incredible mix of people and businesses. It feels like exactly the right community for The Maze to call home.” The Maze aims to redefine the social experience without alcohol while cultivating a space to foster meaningful connections. At 4,600 square feet, the design-forward members club features an upscale coffee bar, a New American restaurant, and a range of spaces for dining, gathering, and events.

Members can enjoy a variety of curated weekly events to promote connection, growth, and mindfulness. Some events include networking, community mixers, workshops, and monthly Cornerstone Groups, small peer groups that meet in the private dining room. The Maze food & beverage program is led by acclaimed Chef Tom Colicchio and his team at Crafted Hospitality. The full-service New American restaurant features seasonal, creative menus in addition to cafe pop-ups and more culinary programming. Danny’s, 46 West 22nd Street, @dannysnyc
Founded by TV host and entrepreneur Dan Abrams, Danny’s is an American bistro inspired by old school restaurants once found in the Ladies’ Mile Historic District of New York City. Upon entering the restaurant, guests are welcomed into a cozy, chic ambiance featuring photos from the 60’s along the walls, and an original hand-painted mural.  Guests can enjoy elevated American classics on the menu led by renowned Chef Ed Tinoco, formerly of The Alinea Group. To start, try the Ham and Cheese Hot Pockets made with a 16-month aged ham and a four-cheese blend and the Chopped Kale Salad with oven-roasted tomato, blue corn, and tossed in a lime vinaigrette. Also, savor a selection of Raw Bar options including the Bluefin Tuna Tartare with spiced chips.

For an entrée, order a classic House Cheeseburger with caramelized onion, the Rosemary Fried Chicken with maple biscuits, or a pasta such as the Lumache with a Bolognese sauce. Pair with a variety of vegetable sides from Grilled Asparagus to Roasted Wild Mushrooms. Complement your meal with a cocktail or wine from an all- American wine list curated by General Manager and Bar Director Alexis Belton Tinoco of The Corner Store. Round out your dinner with a dessert such as Danny’s Grand Sundae or a Cheesecake with Seasonal Compote. Visit Danny’s for your next night out with friends and family in the neighborhood! Danny’s is open Tuesday – Saturday from 5 -10 pm.
