New Neighbor: Pastagasm

We’re excited to welcome Pastagasm, the new fast casual pasta restaurant in NoMad. Located at 1158 Broadway, the eatery was founded by three Italian friends who wanted to make fresh pasta more accessible in New York City. Pastagasm serves up delicious pasta great for on-the-go while maintaining flavorful ingredients found in authentic Italian cuisine.

Upon entering Pastagasm, customers are met by a relaxed and welcoming environment. The interior is inspired by 1970s Italian design, featuring a black and white checkered floor as well as pink and yellow pastels on the walls. Yellow was picked as a synonym of pasta and pink as a symbol of innovation and passion. If dining in, you can take a seat at one of the comfortable bar stools to enjoy your meal at the neighborhood pasta joint.

The menu features a variety of homemade pastas including Carbonaughty, tonnarelli carbonara, Italians Do It Better, fettuccine ragù, Smack N’ Cheese, pink mac & cheese, and The Hot Spot, tonnarelli cacio e pepe. Enjoy a range of toppings you can add to your pasta order such as burrata, pine-nuts, truffle sauce, extra guanciale, pecorino, ragu, or sauce. Also, try one of the ravioli options: Some Like it Hot made with calabrian ‘nduja and ricotta or Lobster Lust featuring lobster and potatoes. Pasta salads include the Last Tango in NY with caserecce pesto and the Summer of Love with caserecce sicilian caponata.

Pair your pasta with a Chinotto, an Italian soft drink made from the extract of chinotto oranges. Save room for dessert and indulge in a classic such as Tiramisome, tiramisu served in a glass cup or try the refreshing Cold Paradice, sorrento lemon in a glass cup.
