New Neighbor: Bathhouse Flatiron

We’re pleased to welcome Bathhouse Flatiron, the new spa to the neighborhood located at 14 West 22nd Street. This is Bathhouse’s first Manhattan location following its Williamsburg, Brooklyn launch in 2019.

“In collaboration with the Rockwell Group and Colberg Architecture, we designed a sleek, modern and socially engaging paradise,” says Co-Founder Jason Goodman. “Bathhouses in various forms have been around for 5,000 years – it was about time that Manhattan had one designed for the sensibilities and hospitality standards for the 21st century.”

Upon entering the Bathhouse Flatiron lobby, guests are met by a transformative design. At 35,000 square feet, the space was converted from an underground parking garage into a contemporary bathhouse featuring a variety of amenities. Day pass guests can use six pools: 2 cold plunges, 2 hot pools, 1 neutral pool and 1 salt pool as well as three saunas and a steam room. The dry sauna is 800 square feet and can seat nearly 100 people, while the Russian-style Banya features variegated slate quarried in Vermont.

Additionally, guests can book treatments which include day pass admission and amenities. Treatments include a 50-minute Full-Body Massage or a 80-minute Bathhouse Pro Massage that combine elements of deep tissue work, myofascial release, acupressure, and stretching to release muscular tension. Scrub offerings include a 30-minute Hammam Scrub or a 50-minute Pro Hammam Scrub which feature Moroccan black exfoliating soap, hydrating bubble wash, and CBD oil moisturizer. Scrubs promote blood circulation, exfoliation, and glowy skin. Both massages and scrubs are available for individuals and couples.
