Gifts for the Greater Good

Support local retailers and give joy to NYC families in need this holiday season. Help the Flatiron/23rd Street Partnership purchase gifts from Flatiron and NoMad shops to be donated to local organizations working to support homeless families: Hearts of Gold and the Harmonia Shelter (managed by Services for the Underserved).

We will match every donation dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000, for a potential $20,000 investment total in our local business community. Help us reach our goal so we can purchase at least 440 gifts!

All funds will directly go to local businesses to purchase quality gifts in the Flatiron and NoMad neighborhoods to support the men, women, and children of the Harmonia Shelter and Hearts of Gold. This campaign generates revenue for our retail establishments when they need it most, and offers some warmth and love to families who have had an undeniably hard year.

WE DID IT! The Partnership matched your generous donations up to $10K and were able to purchase 450+ gifts for local homeless families while supporting 16 neighborhood stores with bulk gift orders.
Hearts of Gold delivered gifts to homeless mothers and children in a decked out Santa van, and the Harmonia Shelter will be distributing gifts to their residing families on Christmas Day.
Thank you so much to all of our donors and retailers. Participating shops were beyond grateful for the sales, and the families in-need appreciated the cheer we could provide for them!
A full program recap will be shared in the new year. Please note, we have exceeded our donation goal and will plan to make additional purchases for other local organizations in January.
