This free community programming will feature Rangoli, an art form originating from India where beautiful patterns are created using organic materials.
The Rangoli represents the happiness, positivity, and liveliness of a household, and is intended to welcome Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and good luck.
This family-friendly public event will include:
- A collaborative Rangoli guided by Aeilushi Mistry
- Live traditional music
- South Asian treats
- Educational and cultural activities
