Use the Plaza

TO APPLY
First, review the New York City guidelines for plaza events. Then submit your Plaza Activation application through the Mayor’s Office “e-apply” platform. Please note, the application deadline is 30 days prior to the activation for a plaza and 45 days prior to the event for multiple plaza blocks.
As part of your application, we require the following:
- Site Plan (Download site maps for the North and South Flatiron Public Plazas)
- Run of Show
- Site Visit
- Minimum $1M certificate of liability insurance (COI)
- For commercial marketing events, full payment of the plaza activation fee
