The LIXIL Water Experience Center is an innovative destination showcasing kitchen and bath solutions from LIXIL’s leading brands, including American Standard, GROHE, DXV, INAX, and Basco. At nearly 10,000 sq/ft LIXIL offers interactive product displays and design areas for architects and interior designers alike. Some product displays visitors can explore include an operational shower room featuring a custom music playlist and a kitchen area with fully functional faucets. Created by Paris-based agency Malherbe and LIXIL’s award-winning Global Design team, guests can experience a dynamic and versatile open atmosphere that emphasizes sustainability. From the team behind Scarpetta, LDV Hospitality has recently opened a new Mediterranean dining concept Barlume in Flatiron. Inspired by the flavors of Italy’s Amalfi Coast, the French Riviera and Spain’s Costa Brava, Barlume meaning “glimmer” in Italian is an all-day dining experience. “Barlume is our tribute to both New York and Italy—a celebration of vibrant energy and laid-back elegance,” says John Meadow, Founder & President of LDV Hospitality. Designed by Italian architecture firm Anton Cristell Studio, Barlume has several distinct design features throughout to offer an old-world charm.
