Takeout Flatiron Recap: $35,715.68 Spent With Food & Bev Establishments
The Flatiron/23rd Street Partnership’s Takeout Flatiron campaign encouraged residents and visitors in and around the Flatiron and NoMad neighborhoods to support the district eateries by ordering takeout. The program, which ended March 31st, invited patrons to submit their delivery or takeout receipts from any bar, restaurant, or cafe in the Flatiron district for a chance to win dinner for two for a year.
Four lucky winners received 12 gift cards to selected restaurants (valued at $595). Congratulations to Cindy L., Lud M., Katherine D., and Jay F. who will enjoy a monthly meal on us!
We’re pleased to share the contest generated over 1,000 entries totaling $35,715.68 in dollars spent at area eateries. The campaign had high engagement on social media and included partnerships with @foodbabyny and @yeahfoodbeer. Takeout Flatiron also benefitted from earned media coverage from outlets like amNY, The Ticker, and Eater, and broke weekly order records through our partner Seated for the final two weeks of the campaign.
THANK YOU to everyone who ordered in to support neighborhood restaurants, bars, and cafés! We talk to local owners every day who are so appreciative of your patronage.
Every dollar spent in your own community truly makes a difference.
