Construction Notice: The NYC Department of Design & Construction (DDC) announced pedestrian ramp construction will soon begin at various locations in Manhattan and Queens to upgrade ramps to ADA specifications. The anticipated completion of the entire project is September 2026. Location specific advisories will be distributed 72 hours prior to the start of work at each corner. Locations in Flatiron and NoMad include Madison Avenue from East 23rd Street to East 36th Street. Street Closures:
- West 21st Street between Seventh Avenue and Sixth Avenue will be closed from
6 am – 6 pm Saturday, March 22nd and Sunday, March 23rd to facilitate crane operation.
- West 24th Street between Sixth Avenue and Fifth Avenue will be closed from
6 am – 1 pm Saturday and Sunday through March 30th for building inspection from boom truck.
