Happy Pride! The Flatiron NoMad Partnership proudly presents “Start With Love: PRIDE in Flatiron & NoMad” – our first-ever cultural program honoring Pride Month and celebrating our neighborhood’s legacy as the official starting point of the iconic NYC Pride March.

Throughout June, we’re spotlighting the joy, creativity, and inclusivity that make Flatiron & NoMad a place where everyone can come together and celebrate love in all its forms — through vibrant placemaking, the historic Pride March, and support for our LGBTQIA+ owned businesses.

Some highlights of our activations for Pride include:

• Vibrant street art at the pedestrian extensions of Broadway & 28th Street by artist Ponnapa Prakkamakul
• Rainbow illumination of The New York EDITION and Royalton Park Avenue
• The historic NYC Pride March this Sunday, June 29th at 12 pm

Flatiron & NoMad are turning up the volume this August with the inaugural NoMad Jazz Festival in Madison Square Park — and you’re invited to experience it like a true neighborhood insider. While the music is free, the VIP Passes provide the insider track.

Link NYC LinkLocal Program: LinkNYC has expanded its free ad offerings for local small businesses. Creative features that were previously only available through the paid LinkLocal Plus tier are now free for all LinkLocal users. LinkNYC has partnered with the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) to host monthly webinars that help New York City-based organizations learn how to take advantage of the LinkLocal program.

Neighborhood Activations:

• Lundberg: Thursday, June 26th – Friday, June 27th from 10 am – 6 pm on the Flatiron North Plaza
• NYC Dyke March: Saturday, June 28th at 5 pm on Fifth Avenue from Bryant Park to Washington Square Park
• NYC PRIDE March: Sunday, June 29th at 12 pm from 26th Street & Fifth Avenue to 15th Street & Seventh Avenue

Street Closures:

• West 22nd Street between Sixth Avenue and Fifth Avenue will be closed from 9 am – 3 pm Monday – Friday through July 18th to excavate.
• East 29th Street between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue South will be closed from 7 am – 5 pm Saturday – Sunday through July 6th to facilitate crane operation.
• West 29th Street between Fifth Avenue and Broadway will be closed from 12:01 am Saturday to 8 pm Sunday through July 20th to facilitate crane operation.
