START WITH LOVE: PRIDE IN FLATIRON & NOMAD

Happy Pride! The Flatiron NoMad Partnership proudly presents Start With Love: PRIDE in Flatiron & NoMad, our annual cultural program honoring Pride Month and celebrating our neighborhood’s legacy as the official starting point of the historic NYC Pride March.

Throughout June, we’re spotlighting the joy, creativity, and inclusivity that make Flatiron & NoMad a place where everyone is welcome to gather and celebrate love in all its forms – through vibrant placemaking, the iconic Pride March, and support for our LGBTQIA+ owned businesses across the district.

Movers & Shakers: Kuki Go, NYC Tape Artist

In celebration of Pride Month, we recently had the opportunity to interview Kuki Go, New York City-based Tape Artist and creator behind our current Rainbow Way on Broadway installation throughout Flatiron & NoMad.

“In my artistic work, Pride influences the way I think about public space,” says Kuki. “I want my installations to feel inclusive, bold, and accessible. Rainbow Way is not only a colorful artwork. It is a public gesture of visibility and connection. It invites people to walk through color, celebrate identity, and feel part of something shared.”
