Flatiron Fitness Classes Continue This Evening

It’s Wellness Wednesday! Join us for another free outdoor workout tonight on the Flatiron South Plaza at 6 pm. Enjoy weekly free outdoor fitness classes led by local Flatiron & NoMad studios now through August 9.

Salsa & Art Nights

Part of our Flatiron NoMad Summer Series, join us for Salsa & Art Nights! Dance to live salsa music from the Benny Lopez Latin Jazz Ensemble on the Flatiron North Public Plaza.

While you’re there, experience “The Small Box,” an experiential public art activation presented by School of Visual Arts, Continuing Education (SVACE). Attendees have the opportunity to write on the piece, in chalk, their own answer to a question posed by SVA professor and artist Stephen Gaffney.

  • Fenty Beauty: Friday, July 14th from 10 am – 5 pm on the Flatiron North Plaza.
  • Street Fair: Saturday, July 15th from 10 am – 6 pm on Sixth Avenue from 14th to 23rd Street.
  • Carnival Cubano Parade: Sunday, July 16th on Madison Avenue between 27th Street and 38th Street.

 

Street Closures

  • East 26th Street between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue will be closed from 8 am – 6 pm on Saturday, July 15th and 9 am – 6 pm Sunday, July 16th to facilitate crane operation.
  • East 22nd Street between Broadway and Park Avenue South will be closed from 8 am – 6 pm on Saturday, July 15th and 9 am – 6 pm Sunday, July 16th through Sunday, July 23rd for lifting crates with knuckle boom.
