Winter Glow Continues

Light up your holidays with our newest seasonal program: Winter Glow! Join us through December 21st for free public pop-up programming across the neighborhood with elements of light, art, and storytelling.

View the luminous, interactive art installation CONTROL NO CONTROL, created by Iregular, on the Flatiron North Plaza through January 1, 2024.

Winter Glow continues with these activations:

• Thursday, 12/14 at 4:30 pm: Silent Disco Night at Flatiron North Plaza
• Sunday, 12/17 at 11 am: Free Holiday-Themed Historic Walking Tour
• Thursday, 12/21 at 4:30 pm: Winter Solstice with National Museum of Mathematics (MoMath) at Flatiron North Plaza

Movers & Shakers: Daniel Iregui, Digital Artist & Founder of Iregular

Meet Daniel Iregui, award-winning Digital Artist and Founder of Iregular. Iregui’s interactive installation, CONTROL NO CONTROL, presented in partnership with NYC Department of Transportation’s Art Program, appears as part of our Winter Glow holiday programming on the Flatiron North Plaza through January 1st.

“CONTROL NO CONTROL has toured over 35 times around the world since its creation,” says Daniel. “It has also developed over the years, and we could not be more proud to unveil its most evolved, advanced, and refined version yet in front of none other than the Flatiron Building.”

New Neighbor: The Fifth Avenue Hotel

We’re excited to welcome The Fifth Avenue Hotel to the neighborhood located at 1 West 28th Street in NoMad. Reminiscent of the Gilded Age, the boutique hotel combines New York City’s heritage with the present.

Citibin Trash Containers Clean Up NoMad

In collaboration with the NYC Dept. of Sanitation (DSNY)’s Clean Curbs Program, we’re cleaning up our act along Broadway with two Citibin trash containers in NoMad.

Citibins are sealed, rodent-proof containers that discretely house bagged refuse for DSNY collection which removes the stacking of bags from sidewalks. Our initial Citibin locations add to our daily Clean Team sanitation efforts for a cleaner, more inviting Flatiron & NoMad.
