NoMad Jazz Festival: Jazz in the Clouds

Join the NoMad Jazz Festival for Jazz in the Clouds, a one-night-only benefit concert on Monday, June 8th from 6 – 8 PM at Nubeluz within the Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad.

Enjoy live performances by Grammy nominees Ravi Coltrane and Brandee Younger, with a special guest appearance by Grammy Award winner Samara Joy. While there, sip elevated cocktails, savor curated eats, and take in sweeping city views from the 50th floor.

All ticket proceeds support the NoMad Jazz Festival.

Sixth Avenue Improvement Project: The NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) will implement a Sixth Avenue improvement project from 14th Street to 35th Street. The project will begin implementation in May and includes shortened pedestrian crossings, a widened bike lane, intersection traffic calming, and a bus-only lane from 31st to 35th Street. Con Edison Work Notices:

• Tomorrow, Thursday, May 7th – Friday, May 8th from 9 pm – 7 am, Con Edison will perform a water test shutdown on East 29th Street between Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue.
• Now – Friday, May 8th from 7 am – 3:30 pm, Con Edison will perform ECS support work and continue hand care excavations at the intersection of East 29th Street and Fifth Avenue.
• Now – July 31, Con Edison will be performing gas upgrade work on West 26th Street between Sixth Avenue and Seventh Avenue on weekdays from 9 am – 4 pm.
