Sixth Avenue Improvement Project: The NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) will implement a Sixth Avenue improvement project from 14th Street to 35th Street. The project will begin implementation in May and includes shortened pedestrian crossings, a widened bike lane, intersection traffic calming, and a bus-only lane from 31st to 35th Street. - Street Festival: Saturday, May 9th, 10 am – 7 pm, Sixth Avenue from 23rd Street to 32nd Street
Con Edison Work Notices:
- Tomorrow, Thursday, May 7th – Friday, May 8th from 9 pm – 7 am, Con Edison will perform a water test shutdown on East 29th Street between Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue.
- Now – Friday, May 8th from 7 am – 3:30 pm, Con Edison will perform ECS support work and continue hand care excavations at the intersection of East 29th Street and Fifth Avenue.
- Now – July 31, Con Edison will be performing gas upgrade work on West 26th Street between Sixth Avenue and Seventh Avenue on weekdays from 9 am – 4 pm.
