Find your new favorite fitness class! Enjoy eight weeks of free outdoor fitness classes led by local Flatiron & NoMad studios beginning on June 21st.

Work out with us at our signature ‘Wellness Wednesday’ evening classes in the Flatiron South Public Plaza at 6 pm as part of our summer event series.

Salsa & Art Nights

Part of our Flatiron NoMad Summer Series, join us for four weeks of Salsa & Art Nights! Benny Lopez Latin Jazz Ensemble play live salsa music and invite New Yorkers and visitors to dance and enjoy on the Flatiron North Public Plaza.

While you’re there, experience “The Small Box,” an experiential public art activation presented by School of Visual Arts, Continuing Education (SVACE). Attendees have the opportunity to write on the piece, in chalk, their own answer to a question posed by SVA professor and artist Stephen Gaffney.

New Neighbor: Casa Soglia

We’re pleased to welcome Casa Soglia, the new upscale Italian restaurant to the neighborhood at 365 Park Avenue South within the boutique Hotel Giraffe.

“We are very excited to be in this neighborhood,” says the Casa Soglia team. “We think it’s growing so much. It is a perfect mix of communities from business to art, and we think we can be a great meeting spot for them both.”

Casa Soglia is open Monday through Saturday for lunch served from 12 – 3pm and dinner from 5 – 10 pm.

Celebrate Pride

June is Pride Month, a celebration of the civil rights of the LGBTQ+ community and commemoration of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising. On Sunday, June 25th, the NYC Pride March will step off from 26th Street and Fifth Avenue at noon.

Celebrate Big Apple Barbecue on June 13

Celebrate Big Apple Barbecue is a one-night-only barbecue and bourbon tasting event in support of Madison Square Park.

On June 13, enjoy cocktails and ‘cue from 27 of the region’s top BBQ chefs and pitmasters, all while helping raise the funds needed to keep your park clean, green, and thriving.

All proceeds from this unique benefit will support Madison Square Park Conservancy.
