Flatiron & NoMad’s Diverse, Resilient Workforce (Q1 2023 Economic Report)
This quarter, the Partnership looks back at historic neighborhood workforce trends and highlights district resiliency following economic uncertainty over the last two decades.
Other exciting updates from Q1 are featured that will have a lasting impact on the neighborhood including General Assembly’s technology apprenticeship program, Cure’s “Lab of the Future”, and The Masonic Hall’s new Children’s Dyslexia Center.

New Report! Q1 2023 Mobility Report
The Partnership’s new quarterly Mobility Report features district-wide foot traffic data, counts at specific neighborhood gateway locations, and ridership information from local subway, PATH, and Citi Bike stations.
- Visitor traffic reached 80% of pre-pandemic levels and employee return-to-office rates reached 66%, the highest recovery rates to date.
- In March, 97,000 daily passengers exited the subway in Flatiron and NoMad.
- PATH ridership surpassed 50% recovery for the first time.
