Con Edison Work Notice: Through November 28, Fifth Avenue between 20th and 21st Streets will be impacted by gas line upgrades each day. Expect lane closures, limited street parking, and generator noise throughout the project.
Link NYC LinkLocal Program: LinkNYC has expanded its free ad offerings for local small businesses. Creative features that were previously only available through the paid LinkLocal Plus tier are now free for all LinkLocal users. LinkNYC has partnered with the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) to host monthly webinars that help New York City-based organizations learn how to take advantage of the LinkLocal program.
Neighborhood Activations:
- Dunkin’ Donuts: Wednesday, August 20th – Thursday, August 21st on the Flatiron North Plaza
- Pakistan Day Parade: Sunday, August 24th on Madison Avenue from 38th Street to 24th Street
- Street Festival: Sunday, August 24th on Sixth Avenue from 14th Street to 23rd Street
Street Closures:
- West 29th Street between Fifth Avenue and Broadway will be closed from 12:01 am Saturday to 8 pm Sunday through August 24th to facilitate crane operation.
- West 22nd Street between Sixth Avenue and Fifth Avenue will be closed from 9 am – 3 pm Monday to Friday through September 1st to excavate and install vault for new major service.
