Movers & Shakers: Marie Saint-Cyr

Meet Marie Saint-Cyr, Founder & CEO of Saint-Cyr Art Studio. In collaboration with NYC DOT Art, muralists from Saint-Cyr Art Studio brings our latest bike mural wall located on 25th Street between Broadway and Fifth Avenue.

“I envisioned a piece that not only celebrates the neighborhood’s unique identity but also fosters a sense of belonging and inclusion for everyone who encounters it,” shares Marie.

DSNY Residential Waste Containerization Program

As of November 12th, new rules are now in effect to begin containerizing all residential trash. All properties with 1-9 residential units will be required to use bins with secure lids to set out trash for collection.

The new rules also apply to special-use buildings receiving DSNY collection – including City agencies, nonprofits, houses of worship, and professional offices in residential buildings.

Construction Notice: The NYC Department of Design & Construction (DDC) announced pedestrian ramp construction will soon begin at various locations in Manhattan and Queens to upgrade ramps to ADA specifications. The anticipated completion of the entire project is September 2026. Location specific advisories will be distributed 72 hours prior to the start of work at each corner. Locations in Flatiron and NoMad include Madison Avenue from East 23rd Street to East 36th Street.
