Pride Weekend: Upcoming Street Closures in Flatiron & NoMad

Happy Pride! Plan ahead for a busy weekend in and around Flatiron & NoMad. Please note the following street closures, and be aware of increased activity in the neighborhood.

  • NYC Dyke March:
    • TheĀ NYC Dyke March will step off from Bryant Park at Fifth Avenue and will proceed south through Flatiron and NoMad to Washington Square Park beginning at 5 PM this Saturday, June 27th.

 

  • NYC PRIDE March:
    • TheĀ NYC PRIDE March will step off from 26th Street and Fifth Avenue at 12 PM this Sunday, June 28th. The March will proceed south on Fifth Avenue through Flatiron before dispersing at 15th Street and Seventh Avenue.
    • Traffic detours begin early Sunday morning in advance of the 12 PM March step-off.
    • Fifth Avenue through NoMad and Flatiron will be closed to vehicle traffic, and Sixth Avenue and Madison Avenue will also be heavily impacted. Cross streets from 33rd Street to 25th Street will be closed between Sixth Avenue and Madison Avenue for March staging, formation, and operations.
    • Pedestrian crossings will be maintained along the Fifth Avenue march route at 23rd Street, 21st Street, and 17th Street.
    • The Flatiron North Plaza (between 23rd and 24th Street) will also be closed.
