The New York City Comedy Film Festival (NYCFF) Is Coming to Flatiron & NoMad

From February 15-22, the inaugural New York City Comedy Film Festival (NYCFF) will debut in Flatiron & NoMad! Hosted at Asylum NYC and the Baruch Performing Arts Center, the NYCFF will host 75+ comedy films from features and shorts, to filmmaker Q&As and more.

“There’s no better place to launch the first New York Comedy Film Festival than right here in the Flatiron & NoMad district,” said co-founder Bob Melley, Managing Partner of Asylum NYC. “We’re excited to host a week filled with laughter, standout films, and the unmistakable energy of this neighborhood.”

NGLCC FOOD: Fueling Opportunities for Owner Development Program: Presented in partnership with The National LGBTQ+ and Allied Chamber of Commerce, this program combines short-form education with grant support to help restaurants strengthen operations, build capacity, and invest in practical business improvements. Eligible restaurants may apply for grants of up to $2,500. Applications are open now through Tuesday, February 10th.

  • West 20th Street between Sixth Avenue and Fifth Avenue will be closed from 7 am to 6 pm Monday t0 Friday through 2/10/26 to facilitate crane operations.
  • East 22nd Street between Fifth Avenue and Broadway will be closed from 11 pm to 1 pm Friday through 2/1/2026 to facilitate crane operation.
  • East 25th Street between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue South will be closed from 12:01 am to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday through 2/22/2026 for roof derrick hoist.

 

Con Edison Work Notice:

  • From 7 am – 3:30 pm through Friday, January 30th, Con Edison will perform hand care excavations at East 29th Street between Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue.
