Snow Alert for NYC
The New York City Department of Sanitation (DSNY) has issued a Snow Alert for Sunday, January 19, 2025, beginning at 7:00 a.m. and continuing until 2:00 a.m. Monday.
Current forecasts suggest that precipitation may begin as early as 7:00 a.m. as a wintry mix, becoming all snow by noon. Read the full winter alert provided by the DSNY here.
Our dedicated Clean Team will be out in the neighborhood shoveling snow and spreading salt to clear pedestrian paths on the Flatiron Public Plazas as well as clearing crosswalks throughout the district.
Due to inclement weather, The Diamonds on the Flatiron North Plaza will be closing Sunday, January 19th at 2PM and will reopen on Monday, January 20th at 12PM. Spectrum will remain open between 7AM-10PM. Please check our website for any further updates.
Property and business owners should be prepared to do their part to keep the community safe by removing snow and ice from sidewalks outside their buildings. As a reminder, property owners and car owners may not push snow into the street, including bike lanes.
