Meet Catherine Laureau, Development Director of Mirari, the multidisciplinary creative studio who installed the interactive art installation Spectrum on the Flatiron South Plaza as part of our Winter Glow program.

“In today’s fast-paced world, communication is often instantaneous and digital, but Spectrum creates a physical and shared moment where people can see the impact of their voice in real-time,” says Catherine. “It’s about fostering connection—not just with the artwork, but with others in the space.”

Madison Square Park Conservancy invites you to The Manhattan Mix-Off on Tuesday, March 11 at Barlume. Bringing together an impressive lineup of NYC’s most acclaimed bars – Bazaar Bar, Experimental Cocktail Club, Patent Pending, and Thyme Bar – the evening will be filled with excitement as each participating mixologist vies to have their unique twist on a Manhattan be designated the official “Madison Square Park Manhattan.”

Construction Notice: The NYC Department of Design & Construction (DDC) announced pedestrian ramp construction will soon begin at various locations in Manhattan and Queens to upgrade ramps to ADA specifications. The anticipated completion of the entire project is September 2026. Location specific advisories will be distributed 72 hours prior to the start of work at each corner. Locations in Flatiron and NoMad include Madison Avenue from East 23rd Street to East 36th Street.
