Free Classes on the flatiron plazas Through August 10

The Flatiron Fitness Series is back with eight weeks of FREE outdoor fitness classes. Work out with us at our signature ‘Wellness Wednesday’ evening classes in the Flatiron Public Plazas at 6 pm, and join our pop-up classes on the NoMad Piazza select weeks. These free weekly classes are presented in partnership with Whole Foods Market.

In the event of severe weather, classes will be cancelled. Every effort will be made to make a rain call at least 2 hours before class on the day of the event. SOUK Studio: SOUK SWEAT 

Flatiron South Public Plaza (Broadway b/w 22nd & 23rd Streets)
A rigorous flow of sweat-inducing, stamina-building yoga postures that include standing poses, twists, and shoulder opening backbends, that provide the perfect occasion to de-stress at the end of your day.

 

Wednesday, June 29th at 6 pm:
DanceBody: Dance + Sculpt

Flatiron South Public Plaza (Broadway b/w 22nd & 23rd Streets)
Experience dance-inspired cardio and sculpt intervals set to music that will keep you pumped. No equipment is necessary to get a great sweat in this class. Prepare to have your energy lifted for the rest of the day. Wear sneakers, come prepared to move. 40 minutes of Dance Cardio and 20 minutes of Sculpt.

TrampoLEAN: YogaLEAN
Flatiron South Public Plaza (Broadway b/w 22nd & 23rd Streets)
Find your inner peace with low-intensity yoga, pilates and stretching. Revive yourself with high-energy strength, cardio and endurance movements. This multi-faceted class enhances clarity, mental focus and physical well-being with a balanced flow of breath guided movements. All physical shapes, sizes and levels are welcome.

Life Time: Gluteus Maxout
Flatiron South Public Plaza (Broadway b/w 22nd & 23rd Streets)
This Life Time signature format focuses on movements that target and strengthen the muscles in and around your legs and glutes, with a little cardio included throughout to challenge your aerobic capacity.

NoMad Piazza: Intersection of Broadway and 25th Street (near 1123 Broadway)
Join us on the NoMad Piazza at 6 pm for a Tabata-style cardio class that combines High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), muscle toning, and cardio to create a killer power-packed workout experience.

PMT House of Dance: Beginner Hip Hop
Flatiron South Public Plaza (Broadway b/w 22nd & 23rd Streets)
Students will enjoy an energetic, challenging form of Hip Hop that teaches foundations with proper context and technique.  A heavy emphasis on musicality, creativity, intention, and performance will be placed on students, enabling them to maximize their potential.

Wednesday, August 3rd at 6 pm:
Power Pilates: Open Mat
Flatiron South Public Plaza (Broadway b/w 22nd & 23rd Streets)
Work your powerhouse with the classical Pilates exercise sequence. Using your own body as resistance, you will effectively engage all muscle groups with low-impact movements such as the hundred and the teaser. This open class allows for easier modifications and challenging variations.

bodē nyc: HIIT 50
Flatiron South Public Plaza (Broadway b/w 22nd & 23rd Streets)
Our HIIT 50 class is a Tabata-style cardio class that combines High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), muscle toning, and cardio to create a killer power-packed workout experience. The bode HIIT class strengthens your core, burns fat, and increases flexibility.
